AAP MP Sanjay Singh has issued a defamation notice to BJP leaders Amit Malviya and Manoj Tiwari regarding his wife's voter ID. The notice comes in response to claims by both BJP leaders suggesting that his wife, Anita Singh, is registered at an address in Sultanpur district, Uttar Pradesh. In contrast, Sanjay Singh clarified that her voter ID is registered at the North Avenue address in the New Delhi Assembly constituency, and her name was officially removed from Sultanpur in January 2024.

Addressing the allegations, Sanjay Singh accused the BJP of attempting to tarnish his family's image. He vowed to pursue legal actions regarding this issue. After sending the legal notice, Sanjay Singh announced, 'I have sent a legal notice to Amit Malviya and Manoj Tiwari. Anyone willing to provide evidence concerning my and my wife's vote is welcome.'
