The national convener of the Aam Aadmi Party and former Chief Minister of Delhi, Arvind Kejriwal, was attacked ahead of the elections. AAP released a video stating that Kejriwal's car was targeted, with black flags shown and stones hurled.
The Aam Aadmi Party shared a post on X, claiming, 'BJP, afraid of defeat, has lashed out. They orchestrated this attack on Arvind Kejriwal through their hooligans.' AAP accused BJP candidate Parvesh Verma's henchmen of attacking Kejriwal with bricks and stones during his campaign, trying to injure him to halt his promotion activities. AAP remarked, 'BJP folks, such cowardly attacks won't scare Kejriwal. The people of Delhi will give you a befitting reply.'

Meanwhile, BJP fiercely retaliated against the Aam Aadmi Party. BJP candidate Parvesh Verma from the New Delhi assembly seat claimed that Kejriwal's black car ran over their workers. One worker's leg was broken, and Verma was headed to Lady Hardinge to check on him. He accused the 11-year tenure of the Delhi government not only of spreading corruption but also of ruining the city. He appealed to the nation and the citizens of Delhi to save the city, noting that in the span of 11 years, the Yamuna has not just become filthy but has turned into a drain-like state.
Regarding the alleged attack on Kejriwal, Delhi Police stated no attack took place. Kejriwal was holding a public meeting at Lal Bahadur Sadan. Some BJP individuals attended the meeting intending to ask questions, resulting in slogans from both sides. Police have since removed individuals from both factions.
