'Jebu', the beloved pet, accompanied Tarique, his wife Zubeda, and daughter Jaima Rahman back to Dhaka on Thursday. The Bangladesh Nationalist Party's verified Facebook page announced Jebu's return after noon, sharing an image with the caption - Jebu has returned home.

Shortly before, the Rahman family landed at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport on Biman Bangladesh Airlines, marking Tarique's return following over 17 years in exile.

Speaking with BBC Bangla, Tarique Rahman mentioned that the cat belongs to his daughter but has become a family favorite. Just hours before the family's return to Dhaka, Jebu launched its Facebook page, becoming an official social media star.

Tarique's Return on December 25th
Flight BG 202 from Biman Bangladesh Airlines, arriving from London via Sylhet, touched down in Dhaka around 11:39 AM. The BNP celebrated his return with a public gathering, witnessing high attendance by party leaders and activists. From the airport, Tarique headed directly to the reception venue.
Post the public reception, Tarique visited his mother, BNP Chairperson and former Prime Minister Khaleda Zia, currently under treatment at Evercare Hospital.
