A unique Kanwar Yatra has caught people's attention in Bijnor district. Tamanna Malik, donning a burqa, set out from Haridwar towards her home district of Sambhal with a Kanwar, arousing the curiosity of many. Her journey has prompted gatherings of onlookers everywhere she goes. Several Hindu organizations have warmly welcomed her, showering her with flowers.
In light of her pilgrimage, security measures are heightened with police presence. Various Hindu group members accompany her, ensuring a trouble-free passage.
Tamanna Malik, a resident of Badnapur Bassi village in Asmoli area of Sambhal district, is returning with a Kanwar from Haridwar. The sight of her walking in a burqa with a group of Kanwariyas has left many surprised. As the news spread to nearby locals and Hindu communities, they greeted her with garlands and applause.
Her arrival in towns like Nurpur, Feena, and Ratangarh in Bijnor saw a resounding welcome. In Nurpur, women invited her to rest for a while at a temple, where she again received showers of flowers and garlands, with some even capturing selfies.
To ensure a smooth journey for Tamanna without any misconduct, Hindu organization members walked alongside her for significant stretches. Supported by police, the entire Kanwar group moved safely through each jurisdiction.
Tamanna, accompanied by over 100 enthusiastic Shiva devotees, chants 'Bol Bhole' as she marches on. The route she traverses becomes crowded with interested observers.
Tamanna revealed her personal desire to undertake the Kanwar Yatra like many others and offer water to Lord Shiva. Despite being from the Muslim community, she recently married Aman Tyagi, residing together now. With consent from her husband and in-laws, she made this decision. On reaching Sambhal, she plans to present water at the Shiva temple on Shivratri, accompanied by her husband Aman Tyagi the whole way.
