Recently, ATS apprehended terrorist Bilal in Saharanpur to uncover critical security threats through interrogation. It has been discovered that Bilal maintained contact with approximately 4,000 numbers, including Pakistani handlers linked to Al Qaeda. These handlers continuously sent him directives for executing terror attacks, while he disseminated extremist sermons on social media.
The inquiry led to the seizure of multiple social media accounts used for spreading terror. Saharanpur's Bilal was conspiring with Al Qaeda for an attack in India, until his arrest by UP ATS on September 15.

He labeled terrorists killed in ‘Operation Sindoor’ as martyrs
During the remand period commencing on November 4, ATS garnered critical insights through extensive questioning. ATS is currently analyzing Bilal's mobile data, revealing that he aspired to destabilize the government and impose Sharia law. Moreover, he referred to terrorists killed in 'Operation Sindoor' as 'martyrs.'

Bilal paid homage to Asim Umar, the first AQIS chief, within his social media groups, portraying him as a hero to its members. He asserted that following the path of jihad would rally Mujahideen support from Morocco to the Philippines, claiming people would bleed wherever Mujahideen's sweat fell.
