In the national capital of Delhi, road accidents are unfortunately ongoing. The recent Dwarka road incident had barely settled in the public memory when another life-threatening accident occurred, claiming the life of a delivery boy.
Near the Subhash Nagar Metro's red light, along Najafgarh Road, a speeding car struck the scooter of a Zomato delivery boy. Following the collision, the victim was rushed to DDU Hospital, where he was pronounced dead by the doctors.
According to eyewitnesses, the accused driver was intoxicated. The car was severely damaged in the incident and a video of the wreckage has surfaced. The police have detained the accused and confiscated the vehicle.

The Tilak Nagar police station was informed of the accident at 3:26 AM. The police subsequently arrived at the scene to investigate. The deceased has been identified as Nand Kishore, 25, a resident of Raghubir Nagar, Delhi.
FIR Filed Against the Accused
The accused driver is identified as Mohit Kumar, 27. He resides in Najafgarh and works as a contractor for the MCD. The police have filed an FIR, and further legal proceedings are underway.
Road Accident in Dwarka
It is noteworthy that on February 3, near the Lal Bahadur Shastri College in Dwarka, Sahil Dhaneshra, aged 23, died in a mishap. A minor driving an SUV hit Sahil's bike, resulting in Sahil's death. Due to the minor's status, the police arrested his father, and the investigation is ongoing.
