A significant development in Maharashtra politics has been revealed. Uddhav Thackeray has extended an open offer to Union Minister Nitin Gadkari, inviting him to leave BJP and join MVA to contest elections. Thackeray stated, 'Do not bend before Delhi. Reacting to this offer, Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis has said that Nitin Gadkari is one of our top leaders. Thackeray's party is nothing more than a mere spectacle.'

What does Shiv Sena Chief (UBT) say?

Shiv Sena Chief, Uddhav Thackeray (UBT), remarked on Friday, 'The BJP’s list has been revealed with many names, including Kripashankar Singh who was accused of corruption by BJP; his name is there with PM Modi, but not Nitin Gadkari who has built the party's base in Maharashtra for so many years. Thackeray exclaimed, 'Mr. Gadkari, leave BJP. We will ensure your victory from MVA. Show them what Maharashtra is made of. Maharashtra has never bowed to Delhi.'

NCB leader Supriya Sule also commented on the issue, stating that Nitin Gadkari is not just a party leader but a respected national figure who has never engaged in vengeful politics. She admired his policy of providing funds to any MP requesting them for their constituency without hesitation. Sule continued expressing respect for Gadkari since he has never harbored a spirit of retaliation or harshness in politics.

Devendra Fadnavis Reacts

Meanwhile, Maharashtra's Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis has responded to Uddhav Thackeray's statement. He commented, 'Thackeray’s party remains only with a band and spectacle. They are offering a seat to Gadkari, our national leader, as if someone is offering a street person the presidency of the United States. The seat for Maharashtra has not been announced yet, as the COALITION PARTIES are still deliberating. When we discuss the Lok Sabha candidates for Maharashtra, Nitin Gadkari’s name will be the first one proposed.'
