In a tragic turn of events, a poignant love story reaches a sorrowful end in Lucknow. Inside a car on Outer Ring Road, a couple consumed poison, ending their lives in the Gosaiganj police station area. The police explained that the couple, found unconscious, was rushed to the hospital where doctors declared them dead.

The young man, Subhash Rawat, just 21, was an Ola cab driver residing in Janakipuram's Ajnahar. The girl, merely 15, called Alambagh home. Despite a deep connection over a significant time, familial disapproval shrouded their relationship in tension.

Lovers' Tragic Pact

During the incident, both ingested poison within the car. As Subhash sensed his worsening condition, he messaged his brother the location, confessing to their drastic step. By the time family members arrived, it was tragically too late. The police are now unraveling why they resorted to such a drastic measure, and have sent the bodies for post-mortem examination.

Police Launch an Investigation

Grief and astonishment envelop the local community and families. Both the SP and police teams are meticulously examining the scene. Authorities are reviewing nearby CCTV footage and conversing with relatives to clarify the motives behind their despair-driven actions.

The couple was last seen driving towards Outer Ring Road.

Upon notification from the brother, police rush to the car’s location.

Doctors confirm the demise of both individuals.
