The Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu and DMK leader, MK Stalin, took a jab at Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, suggesting she avoided contesting elections because she realized people would teach her a lesson this time. Sitharaman had earlier stated that she wouldn't contest the upcoming Lok Sabha elections due to a lack of funds.

Stalin noted that Nirmala Sitharaman's name was absent from the candidates' list. Do you know why she said she's not contesting? She claims to lack the financial means to do so. However, we question the electoral donations BJP received. Did they (BJP) inform you they couldn't provide funds for your campaign?

It should be noted that on March 27th, Nirmala Sitharaman declared she rejected BJP's proposal to run for elections because she doesn't have the funds for a Lok Sabha campaign. After contemplating for a week or ten days, she concluded that she lacks the monetary resources to participate.

Stalin stressed the importance of interacting with the public and working for them, which Nirmala Sitharaman hasn't fulfilled, according to him. He believes one must care for and be concerned about the people's issues to contest an election. It's apparent to her (Nirmala Sitharaman) that the public would reprimand her through the electoral process, leading to her decision.

The Tamil Nadu Chief Minister criticized the Finance Minister, mentioning her dismissing the state government's financial aid to flood victims as mere alms. Stalin urged her to visit and meet the people at least once. During his party's campaign, the DMK leader also targeted PM Narendra Modi and PMK founder Dr. S. Ramadoss. Recently, BJP and PMK concluded a seat-sharing arrangement for the upcoming Tamil Nadu Lok Sabha elections.

Stalin remarked that Dr. Ramadoss, previously vocal about social justice, has aligned with BJP, which opposes such values. The BJP's ideology directly contradicts PMK's principles. Even PMK members express dissatisfaction with the alliance. We all know how this coalition was formed; it's no hidden secret.
