'Structure Erected by Demolishing Harihar Temple, Mention in Ain-e-Akbari', Says CM Yogi on Sambhal Issue

CM Yogi commented on the Sambhal Shahi Jama Masjid controversy, stating that a structure was erected by demolishing the Harihar Temple, as documented in Ain-e-Akbari. He mentioned that in Sambhal, Shri Hari Vishnu's 10th avatar, Kalki, will manifest as ancient texts over 5,000 years old reveal.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath articulated concerns over the Shahi Jama Masjid in Sambhal, stating that it stands where the Harihar Temple once was, as documented by Abul Fazl in the Ain-e-Akbari. CM Yogi urged recognizing past errors and not creating unnecessary obstacles related to symbols connected to Sanatan Dharma.

CM Adityanath shared, "Sambhal is prophesied as the site of Shri Hari Vishnu's 10th avatar, Kalki. Our ancient texts, spanning back 5,000 years, mention when and where avatars will emerge, including Sambhal's ties. The current structures observed there align with religious testimony, crafted amidst conspiracies far and wide in India. With their inception dating from 3,500 to 5,000 years ago, our scriptures predate Islam's existence. There were no Jama Masjids back when there was no Islam, so how could a Jama Masjid have existed?"

What Did CM Yogi Say About the Sambhal Issue?

CM Yogi highlighted, "Even Ain-e-Akbari records that a mosque-like structure replaced the Shri Hari Vishnu temple, known today as the Jama Masjid. This scripture speaks; not I. They must acknowledge their past errors. We only seek the preservation of symbols connected to Sanatan Dharma without unnecessary barriers. In the spirit of harmony, such symbols should return to India. We strive for a nation aligned with India's beliefs rather than the mindset of the Muslim League. Sanatan Dharma has always extended shelter, honor, and security to people of all faiths and classes without discrimination, which raises questions where none should exist."

Ain-e-Akbari's Record of the Destruction of Shri Hari Vishnu Temple: CM Yogi

He explained that Ain-e-Akbari indicates the destruction of Shri Hari Vishnu's temple in 1526 to erect a structure. Similarly, in 1528, a structure replaced the Ramlala Temple in Ayodhya. Mir Baqi undertook these operations, all occurring then. Hindu faith reaches out for these revered sites' restitution, urging evidence review.

Controversial Structures Should Not Be Termed Mosques: CM Yogi

When questioned about Sambhal and Ajmer following the mention of Ayodhya, Mathura, and Kashi, he replied, "We've stressed before: controversial structures shouldn't be termed mosques. Ceasing our mention will deter visitors bearing Islamic principles against worship in contested sites. Knowing worship isn't divine, why pursue it? Islamic prayer requires no structure, unlike Hindu practices, ensuring no compulsion. Let’s pivot towards envisioning a new India proud of its heritage."
