For this celebration, 15 rooms have been reserved at the hotel, five of which are dedicated to Rinku's friends. Priya’s Father's Role in the Engagement

In January, Priya’s father, SP MLA from Kerakat, Tufani Saroj, disclosed that meaningful discussions had taken place between their family and Rinku's father in Aligarh regarding the proposed union, with both families expressing their consent.

Tufani noted that Rinku and Priya were introduced via a mutual friend whose father is also a cricketer. With more than a year of growing fondness between them, their families' approval paved the way for this joyous occasion.

Priya: A Noted MP from Machhlishahr

Hailing from Karkhiaon village near Varanasi, Priya Saroj has been an active Smajwadi Party member for several years. In 2024, she was elected to the Lok Sabha, representing Machhlishahr in Jaunpur district. Priya, a former Supreme Court lawyer, first gained public attention during the 2022 UP assembly elections while campaigning for her father. She holds an Arts degree from Delhi University and a Law degree from Amity University, Noida.
