The Indian cricket team's player Rinku Singh is set to wed the Samajwadi Party (SP) Member of Parliament, Priya Saroj. The couple's engagement, along with the date, was announced ahead of time. Rinku Singh and Priya Saroj's grand engagement is scheduled for June 8 (Sunday) in Lucknow, followed by their wedding vows in Varanasi on November 18.

The preparations for Rinku Singh and Priya Saroj's ring ceremony are in full swing. This anticipated event will take place on Sunday at the posh, five-star Centrum Hotel in Lucknow, commencing at 1 PM. The ceremony is expected to draw around 300 guests, including prominent figures from the Samajwadi Party, such as party chief Akhilesh Yadav.

Twenty-six-year-old Priya Saroj won the 2024 Lok Sabha elections from the Machhlishahr constituency, defeating BP Saroj by a margin of 35,850 votes. Born on November 23, 1998, in Varanasi, Priya completed her schooling at the Air Force Golden Jubilee Institute in New Delhi.

Following this, she pursued undergraduate studies in Arts at Delhi University and further obtained her LLB degree from Amity University, Noida. Priya's father, Toofani Saroj, served as a Lok Sabha Member of Parliament three times and is currently the MLA from the Kerakat seat on a Samajwadi Party ticket.
