More than just envisioning it, India is actively developing AI-based applications tailored to specific needs.
PM Modi also highlighted India's unique marketplace model designed to make GPUs accessible across all societal segments. He noted that while others might face delays due to historical reasons or governmental styles, India's perspectives are evolving swiftly. He illustrated this by recounting the rapid deployment of 5G in India. Initially dismissed as lagging, India quickly emerged as one of the fastest countries in the world to roll out 5G connectivity.

Continuing with his narrative to the American podcaster, PM Modi recalled a visit from a U.S. company owner. They shared that an ad in America calling for engineers would fill merely a room, but in India, such an ad would overwhelm a football field. This indeed underscores India’s immense talent reservoir. Moreover, advancements in Artificial Intelligence are reliant on human intelligence.

PM Modi remarked that without human intelligence, AI has no promising future. This intelligence resides in the brilliant youths of India, which he views as a formidable strength. Responding to why Indian Americans like Sundar Pichai, Satya Nadella, and Arvind Srinivas excel so greatly, PM Modi believes it’s the intrinsic Indian values: respect towards both their motherland and workplace.
