Opposition representatives included Rahul Gandhi and Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge. Modi emphasized the necessity for every Indian citizen to stand united.
Government sources reported that opposition leaders were thoroughly briefed on the operation's details and the valor of the army. The government urged opposition leaders to unite during this crucial time. PM Modi's special message highlighted the importance of national unity.
Leaders from various parties attended the all-party meeting, including Congress's Mallikarjun Kharge and Rahul Gandhi, TMC's Sudip Bandyopadhyay, DMK's TR Baalu, TDP's Krishna, JD(U)'s Sanjay Jha, LJP's Chirag Paswan, Shiv Sena's Shrikant Shinde, UBT's Sanjay Raut, NCP (SP)'s Supriya Sule, SP's Ramgopal Yadav, NCP's Praful Patel, IUML's ET Mohammed Basheer, the Left's John Brittas, RJD's Prem Gupta, AIMIM's Asad Owaisi, and AAP's Sanjay Singh.
In response to the terrorist attack on tourists in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, India's armed forces launched 'Operation Sindoor'.
