Following revelations in the murder of UPSC student Ramkesh Meena in Delhi's Timarpur, a surprising connection to Muradabad has come to light. The primary suspect, Amrita Chauhan, a B.Sc. Forensic Science student, hails from the Brass City area of Muradabad. On July 8, 2024, Amrita's family publicly disowned her through a newspaper advertisement. They have refused to comment to the media.
The main plotter behind Ramkesh Meena's murder was Amrita Chauhan. Amrita confessed that Ramkesh possessed some of her private videos and refused to delete them.
Subsequently, Amrita, along with her accomplices Sumit and Sandeep, orchestrated the crime, attempting to disguise it as an accident by setting fire to the scene.
The Family's Advertisement
Amrita Chauhan's family had severed ties with her well before the murder case. On July 8, 2024, the family issued a public notice through a newspaper disowning Amrita. There is official documentation in court confirming the family's disassociation from her. Amrita is a student of B.Sc. Forensic Science.
