Thousands of faithful gathered with their families at revered places like Guru Gorakhnath Ghat in Gorakhpur, Kankarbagh and Digha Ghat in Patna, and Kalindi Kunj bank in Noida.

Chhath Ghats resonated with devotional songs, the beats of the dholak, and traditional songs. Altars on the ghats were traditionally adorned with bananas.

The Deputy Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Keshav Prasad Maurya, also participated in the worship at BJP leader Sanjay Mayukh's residence. The administration made special arrangements for security and organization. This four-day festival culminated with the reverence of the Sun God and Chhathi Maiya, once again immersing the entire nation in the hues of faith and unity.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to participate in the Chhath Puja at Vasudev Ghat on the Yamuna River in Delhi, prompting heightened security measures. Additionally, Delhi's Chief Minister Rekha Gupta has also personally visited the ghats to review the preparations for the puja.

This year's Chhath in Bihar also bore a political hue. Candidates from various political parties involved in the assembly elections visited the ghats to seek blessings from the devotees. The presence of politicians added a special vibe to the occasion.
