Delhi is gearing up for the Assembly Election next year, sparking a flurry of speculations in political corridors. Amidst these discussions, there were talks about a potential alliance between the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and Congress, which party leader Arvind Kejriwal has now firmly refuted.

In a social media post, Arvind Kejriwal stated, "The Aam Aadmi Party will contest the elections in Delhi on its own strength. There is no possibility of any alliance with Congress."

AAP Releases Two Lists of Candidates

The Aam Aadmi Party has unveiled its second list of candidates for the Assembly election, spotlighting 20 names. This time, former Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia has been shifted from Patparganj to the Jangpura constituency. Additionally, Avadh Ojha, a recent recruit to the AAP, will contest from Patparganj.

Further additions include Dinesh Bhardwaj from Narela, Surendra Pal Singh Bittu from Timarpur, Mukesh Goel from Adarsh Nagar, Jasbir Karla from Mundka, Rakesh Jatav Dharmrakshak from Mangolpuri, Pradeep Mittal from Rohini, and Punarjeet Singh Sahni (SEBI) from Chandni Chowk. Others like Pravesh Ratan from Patel Nagar, Rakhi Bidlan from Madipur, Praveen Kumar from Janakpuri, Surendra Bhardwaj from Bijwasan, Joginder Solanki from Palam, and Manish Sisodia from Jangpura have been listed as well.

The first list features candidates such as Brahm Singh Tanwar from Chhatarpur, Anil Jha from Kirari, Deepak Singla from Vishwas Nagar, Sarita Singh from Rohtas Nagar, BB Tyagi from Laxmi Nagar, Ram Singh from Badarpur, Zubair Chaudhary from Seelampur, Veer Singh Dhingan from Seemapuri, Gaurav Sharma from Ghonda, Manoj Tyagi from Karawal Nagar, and Sumesh Shaukeen from Matiala.
