Jaipur: Major Police Action Against Betting Operators

On Thursday, Jaipur Police executed a significant operation against gambling hubs and betting operators. Bringing the arrested 41 operators to a public parade aimed to humiliate them. During the raids, police confiscated a staggering 4.8 million INR in cash.

The parade aimed at disgracing former detainees was conducted from the Sanjay Circle Police Station to the Collectrate Circle, under the keen watch of Additional DCP Bajrang Singh Shekhawat.

Police from Jhalupura and Nahargarh stations busted the notorious betting den of Ganya, alias Feroz, alias Bablu, capturing over three dozen betting operators.

'48 Lakh Cash Seized'

According to the police, teams from the Jhalupura and Nahargarh stations raided the infamous gambling den run by Ganya, alias Feroz, alias Bablu. This operation resulted in the arrest of over 36 betting operators and the seizure of 4.8 million INR in cash.

Providing details, DCP Bajrang Singh Shekhawat stated that all arrests were made on Wednesday night, with suspects having large sums confiscated. Due to the number of accused involved, they were escorted to court on foot. Among the accused are operators from Jaipur, Ajmer, Kota, and surrounding areas.
