An intriguing fact has emerged in the case of the bank heist in Lucknow. The thieves left the gold loan lockers untouched but broke open 42 regular lockers, making away with crores worth of jewelry and millions in cash. It seems the burglars were well aware of the layout inside the bank, including the locker room. The suspicion is that an insider might have facilitated this heist.

It's noteworthy that both banks and customers maintain an inventory of the contents within gold loan lockers. However, such records aren't maintained for regular lockers by the bank, which is why they became a target for the thieves.

The police revealed that the bank's alarm had been in sleep mode for the past 15 days, rendering it ineffective during the robbery. Lucknow's Joint Police Commissioner for Law and Order, Amit Verma, remarked that this is a significant point warranting investigation. A thorough investigation is ongoing, scrutinizing all aspects of this case.

Meanwhile, former bank manager Ashok Kumar stated that only senior staff or those frequenting the locker room hold knowledge of them. He suspects an insider assisted the criminals.
