Prime Minister Narendra Modi participated in a podcast with Zerodha co-founder Nikhil Kamath. PM Modi revealed it as his first podcast, where he candidly discussed numerous topics. Before releasing the podcast video, Nikhil Kamath had issued a two-minute trailer. In this trailer, Nikhil appears asking multiple questions to the Prime Minister, to which he provides answers.

In the video, Nikhil queries PM Modi whether there is any particular talent that can be judged for a young individual aspiring to become a leader. In response, PM Modi asserted that politics should continuously welcome good people—those who come with a mission, not ambition. Reflecting on his time as a Chief Minister, PM Modi recounted a public speech where he candidly admitted, 'Mistakes happen. I make them too. After all, I am human, not a deity.'

In the podcast, Nikhil Kamath also inquired about the ongoing conflict worldwide. He asked PM Modi if we should be worried about the current global situation. PM Modi responded that during this crisis, we have consistently stated that we are not neutral. He emphasized, 'I have consistently maintained my stand for peace.'

Continuing the series of questions, Nikhil asked PM Modi how his first and second terms differed. PM Modi explained that during his first term, both he and others were still getting accustomed to each other, and he was learning the ropes of Delhi.

Nikhil Kamath mentioned growing up in a middle-class family in South India, where politics was often viewed as a 'dirty field.' He noted how deep-seated this perception is in our society, making it tough to change. PM Modi responded, 'If what you claim were entirely true, you wouldn't be here today.'
