The troubles for minority Hindus in Bangladesh seem never-ending. After facing numerous attacks and atrocities, Hindus are now being forced to resign from their government jobs. Since August 5, nearly 50 Hindu academics have been obliged to resign.
Revelation
This revelation was made by the Bangladesh Chhatra Ekya Parishad, the student wing of the Bangladesh Hindu Buddhist Christian Ekya Parishad, at a press conference on Saturday. Aaj Tak obtained a list of teachers who have resigned. A photo of Shukla Roy, the principal of Bakarganj Government College, submitting her resignation was also made public. She was forced to write 'I resign' on a blank sheet and submit it.
Some teachers confirmed the resignations to 'Aaj Tak'. Sanjay Kumar Mukherjee, Associate Professor, Department of Public Administration and Governance Studies, Kazi Nazrul University, Bangladesh, stated, "Brother, I am Sanjay Kumar Mukherjee, Associate Professor, Department of Public Administration and Governance Studies, Kazi Nazrul University, Bangladesh. I was forced to resign from the posts of Proctor and Department Head. We are feeling very insecure right now."

The Grim Situation for Hindus in Bangladesh
Dr. Chandranath Poddar, Professor, Mathematics Department, Dhaka University was forced to quit by students. Teachers avoiding campus out of fear were humiliated at home. Here is a partial list of Hindu teachers forced to resign by extremist groups:
