A deeply disturbing incident has come to light in Jagatsinghpur district, Odisha, where a minor girl was subjected to gang rape. As she became pregnant, the perpetrators attempted to bury her alive. Among the three accused, two have been apprehended, while the third remains absconding. The police have launched an in-depth investigation into this case.
According to law enforcement, two brothers from Bansabara village, Bhagyadhar Das and Panchanan Das, along with a third accused, Tulu Babu, repeatedly assaulted the minor girl. During this period, the girl became five months pregnant. Upon discovering this, the accused attempted to conceal their crime by burying her alive. Fortunately, timely intervention led to her rescue, preserving her life.
