The incident unfolded in Rawatpur, where a resident's wife was due for delivery. They invited her sister to assist with the household. During this period, the accused, Gaurav—a friend of the husband—frequented their home. It was during a party post-delivery that Gaurav set his eyes on the sister-in-law and boasted to his friend that he would ensnare her in a romantic trap.
Following this, the woman’s brother-in-law was informed of Gaurav’s intentions and cautioned the sister-in-law to stay away from him. Despite this, Gaurav proceeded to capture incriminating photos and videos of her, escalating to threats of exposure. The relentless pressure led the woman to end her life. The case has attracted police attention, leading to a thorough investigation.
