Stringent security arrangements are in place in Sambhal owing to the overlap of Holi celebrations and Friday prayers. Authorities are on high alert, intent on preventing any disturbances. To avert any adverse events, seven companies from the RRF and PAC have been strategically deployed throughout Sambhal, with clear directives for police forces to concentrate on sensitive areas.

There will be live monitoring of sensitive zones within Sambhal. Drones equipped with special cameras are tasked with surveilling every corner to ensure immediate communication to the police control room of any suspicious activities.

To deter any unfavorable incidents, 584 watchmen have been mobilized. Additionally, 21 accountants are monitoring sensitive areas and mosques, whereas Holika Dahan was observed through the lens of 250 CCTV cameras.

The city has been divided into 29 zones and 8 sectors. A nodal officer is appointed to oversee each sector. The area surrounding the Jama Masjid is under specific scrutiny with the deployment of the RRF. Monitoring city security is the responsibility of the ASP and two COs.

The administration remains extremely vigilant concerning the Holi processions, employing drones for 12-hour surveillance stints. PAC and police forces are stationed in every sensitive area. Social media misinformation is being carefully watched. Authorities urge people to maintain peace as security arrangements are fortified.

In light of Holi and Friday prayers in Sambhal, special measures uphold tranquility. The Jama Masjid along with ten other mosques have been covered with tarpaulin as a precaution, ensuring that all mosques along the Holi procession route are similarly protected.
