On Monday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi met with the U.S. National Intelligence Director Tulsi Gabbard, presenting her with sacred Ganges water from the Maha Kumbh, held at the Triveni Sangam in Prayagraj. The grand culmination of the 2025 Maha Kumbh attracted over 660 million devotees and concluded on February 26, marking another milestone in spiritual gatherings.

Before meeting with PM Modi, Tulsi Gabbard had discussions with Defense Minister Rajnath Singh. The meeting, held in India's capital, focused on the anti-India activities orchestrated by the banned Khalistani organization, Sikhs for Justice (SFJ), from American soil.

Her visit follows Prime Minister Modi's February visit to the U.S., where she was lauded as a strong advocate for India-U.S. ties.

Gabbard Participates in Bilateral Security Meetings

During her visit, Tulsi Gabbard attended meetings and conferences aimed at enhancing bilateral security cooperation. She was present at a conference hosted by National Security Advisor Ajit Doval, attended by intelligence and security officials from around 20 countries. This event, organized by the National Security Council Secretariat, has been taking place alongside the Raisina Dialogue since 2022.

Tulsi Gabbard's Second Foreign Trip

This visit marks Tulsi Gabbard's second international trip since becoming the U.S. National Intelligence Director. Earlier, she attended the Munich Security Conference in Germany.
