Congress has unveiled its third list of candidates for the Delhi Assembly elections. Areeba Khan has been fielded from the Okhla constituency, while former Union Minister Krishna Tirath will contest from Patel Nagar. The party has swapped its candidate for Gokalpur. To date, Congress has announced 63 candidates in total.

This third list comprises 16 candidates. The party has replaced Pramod Kumar Jayant with Ishwar Bagdi for the Gokalpur-SC seat. Bhishma Sharma, a seasoned figure, is entrusted with the Ghonda seat. Previously, Congress revealed 26 names in its second list.

Battle Shaped: Farhad Suri Secures Jangpura Ticket

Congress has favored Farhad Suri for a ticket in Jangpura, a seat associated with AAP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia. Additionally, Rajesh Lilothia will represent Seemapuri, Mukesh Sharma contests from Uttam Nagar, and Devendra Sahrawat takes on the challenge from Bijwasan.

21 Candidates Announced in First List

Earlier, for the Delhi Assembly elections, Congress announced 21 candidates. Aruna Kumari from Narela, Mangesh Tyagi from Burari, Shivank Singhal from Adarsh Nagar, Devendra Yadav from Badli, Jai Kishan from Sultanpur Majra, Rohit Chaudhary from Nagloi Jat, and Praveen Jain from Salimgarh secured their tickets. Ragini Nayak will run from Wazirpur, Anil Bhardwaj from Sadar Bazar, Mudit Aggarwal from Chandni Chowk, and Haroon Yusuf takes on Ballimaran.

Furthermore, PS Bawa will contest from Tilak Nagar, Adarsh Shastri from Dwarka, Sandeep Dikshit from New Delhi. Tickets are also granted to Abhishek Dutt from Kasturba Nagar, Rajendra Tanwar from Chhatarpur, Jai Prakash from Ambedkar Nagar, Garvit Singhvi from Greater Kailash, Anil Kumar from Patparganj, Abdul Rehman from Seelampur, and Ali Mehdi from Mustafabad.
