The determined bowler penned an emotional post on social media. Shami wrote about his eagerness to stand on his feet again and shared a glimpse of his hospital stay through four poignant photos.
Due to the surgery, Shami missed out on IPL 2024, which was a big blow to Gujarat Titans. He was also unable to compete in the current test series against England. His last match was the ODI World Cup final against Australia in November.
Despite Injury, Shami Played In World Cup
