A heartbreaking incident has unfolded in Chhatarpur district of Madhya Pradesh, where a class 11 student, Santosh Kushwaha, allegedly ended his own life on Friday. This occurrence was reported in Gewara village, approximately 25 kilometers from the district headquarters.

According to local police, Santosh returned home from tuition at around 9 AM and went to his room upstairs. His grandfather, Panchu Kushwaha, informed journalists that when Santosh did not come out for lunch, the family entered his room and were shocked to find him hanging.

He was promptly taken to the district hospital, but the doctors declared him dead on arrival. Assistant Sub-Inspector Prabhu Dayal of the hospital police outpost stated that the suicide case has been forwarded to Ishnagar police station for investigation. Police are gathering complete information and questioning both the family and local community to ascertain the reasons behind this tragedy.

Police in Inquiry Mode

Local residents mentioned that Santosh was an average student and had been attending tuition regularly of late. Currently, the police are looking into any signs of pressure or mental distress.
