Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has once again received a chilling death threat. This time, the ominous message was received on the UP Police control room’s WhatsApp number. The sender dared the authorities to act within four days. Following this, a case has been registered at the Sushant Golf City police station in Lucknow. Police teams have been alerted and are actively investigating the number to secure the arrest of the suspect.
Reports reveal that on the evening of April 29, a suspect sent a message via the UP Police emergency service Dial 112 WhatsApp number, issuing a death threat to CM Yogi Adityanath. In the threatening message, the suspect stated he would carry out the murder on the fifth day. He further provoked police by stating they should do whatever they could in the ensuing four days.
In connection with this case, Arjun Kumar, the commander of the Dial 112 control room, has filed a report at the Sushant Golf City police station. Multiple police teams are deeply engaged in tracing the suspect's phone number and location. A dedicated task force has been set up for the arrest of the accused.
This isn't the first time CM Yogi has been threatened. Back in May 2020, he was threatened with a bomb attack. A menacing message was sent to the WhatsApp of the Dial 112 social media desk, where CM Yogi was portrayed as a threat to a specific community. Police registered a case at the Gomti Nagar Police Station under sections 505(1)b, 506, and 507.
