The joyous wedding atmosphere was plunged into sorrow as news of the shooting reached the bride's home. The family is devastated, overwhelmed with grief. As soon as the police were notified, they arrived at the crime scene and began their investigation. Efforts are underway to apprehend the fugitive.
Kajal, a 22-year-old resident of Bargone in the Sonagiri police district of Datia, Madhya Pradesh, was set to marry Raj in Jhansi. The wedding festivities were taking place at Nisha Garden Marriage Hall, with relatives buzzing in and out. Amidst the music and dance, Kajal went to a nearby beauty parlor to get ready, accompanied by her sister Neha and friends.

Kajal was in the final stages of her bridal makeup when a young man with a scarf over his face entered and dramatically said, "Kajal, come outside, you betrayed me." Hearing this, the bride refused to leave, prompting him to fire a shot.
The sound of the gunshot incited chaos and panic. Upon seeing Kajal bleeding, police and ambulance services were swiftly alerted. She was rushed to Jhansi Medical College, where she tragically passed away. The shooter, said to be a jilted lover, is actively being pursued by authorities.
What Did the Bride's Sister Say After the Murder?
The bride's sister, Neha, recounted the harrowing incident, stating that her sister was getting ready when the assailant entered, asking her to leave with him. Upon refusal, he shot her directly by breaking through the glass. The shooter, identified as Deepak, is a fellow villager. According to Neha, the assailant had his face covered with a scarf and a bag slung over his shoulder, commanding, "Kajal, come with me. Why did you betray us?"
The beauty parlor owner shared her perspective on this shocking crime: "The young woman came here for her bridal makeup, which was almost finished. Suddenly, a guy with a cloth over his face arrived and demanded she come out. When she didn't, he broke down the parlor door and shot her inside."
Commenting on the dreadful shooting, Jhansi SSP Rajesh mentioned, "We received information about a bride being shot. The police arrived swiftly at the scene. Unfortunately, she succumbed to her injuries. The assailant did know the girl previously. Two teams have been formed to apprehend the shooter."
