BSF Foils Major Infiltration in Jammu: Pakistani Shot

On the evening of August 11, 2025, Border Security Force (BSF) soldiers observed suspicious activity at the international border in the Kathua district. A Pakistani individual was found aggressively advancing towards the fence after crossing the border. Despite warnings from alert soldiers, he paid no heed to them.

Suspect Attempted Infiltration as a Shepherd

Sensing danger, the BSF shot him in the leg. According to sources, the arrested individual was attempting to infiltrate disguised as a shepherd. The wounded infiltrator was sent for medical treatment, during which he later passed away.

The BSF lodged a protest with Pakistani officials regarding the incident. On the occasion of the completion of 100 days since Operation Sindoor and August 15, the BSF maintained a heightened alert along the border.

Militant Hideout Discovered in Kishtwar Cave

Elsewhere, security forces uncovered a militant hideout in a cave situated in the upper hills of the Dool region in Kishtwar. This hideout was cleverly chosen, featuring multiple escape routes.

Since yesterday, security forces have been attacking the cave entrance with heavy weaponry to eliminate terrorists hiding inside. However, upon close action, it was discovered that the terrorists had already escaped through alternative routes. A search operation has now intensified in the surrounding areas.
