A heart-wrenching incident has unfolded in Mehsana, Gujarat. A seven-year-old girl, while playing, accidentally locked herself in a cupboard at home, leading to suffocation and her tragic demise. During this time, the girl's mother was occupied with housework. When the family discovered what happened, panic and grief enveloped the household.
This unfortunate occurrence took place at Sukhan Bungalows on Karannagar Road in Kadi. Originally from Maharashtra, Tusharbhai Suryavanshi lives here with his wife Swatiben and their two children. On the day of the incident, Tusharbhai was at work, and Swatiben was engaged in household chores. With the onset of winter, she had washed and put out warm clothes to dry during the day, and was bringing them into the house in the evening. During that time, she had put her younger son to sleep and seated her seven-year-old daughter by the television and went to clean the terrace.

Alone in the hall, little Esha wandered into the cupboard. The door accidentally shut, trapping her inside. The door would not open for a lengthy time, leading to Esha's death by suffocation. Once Swatiben finished her tasks and returned downstairs, she could not find her daughter anywhere. Despite a thorough search of the house, Esha was not found until the cupboard in the hall was opened, revealing her unconscious.

Swatiben's cries quickly gathered neighbors, and Esha was rushed to the Kadi hospital, only to be declared dead on arrival by doctors. The family collapsed into turmoil with the loss of their daughter. Upon learning of the incident, the Kadi police arrived on the scene and started their examination. Deputy Superintendent of Police Milap Patel confirmed ongoing investigations.
