2024 Lok Sabha Elections:

While the BJP has declared candidates for all its seats in Madhya Pradesh, Congress has announced theirs for two dozen seats, yet remains undecided in Gwalior and Morena, Scindia's bastions. They're on the hunt for the 'ace of spades,' someone who can infiltrate Scindia's stronghold—a revelation made by Congress MLA Satish Singh Sikarwar himself.

Indeed, at a public discourse organized by Congress at Phool Bagh Square in opposition to the freezing of party accounts, Sikarwar shared insights into Congress's strategic moves.

While BJP nominated former MP minister Bharat Singh Kushwah in Gwalior and ex-MLA Shivmangal Singh Tomar in Morena, Congress is struggling to find a fitting candidate in these areas, with no clear choice in sight.

Responding to media inquiries about the delay in candidate selection, Sikarwar said Congress is spoiled for choice, necessitating a careful vetting process to find their trump card.

He asserts that Congress will field a player who can expertly navigate the electoral battlefield and outmaneuver the BJP competitor. As the code of conduct looms and time ticks away, BJP's candidates are already canvassing for votes, while Congress's indecision in Gwalior and Morena leaves local politics in limbo.
