The body of a teenager with knife wounds was found in a village in Paroo police station area of Muzaffarpur district. The family identified the body, accusing a local youth and his associates of kidnapping, rape, and murder. The victim's mother stated that her daughter had refused to marry the accused, which led to the tragic incident.
The mother of the deceased filed a case of kidnapping, rape, and murder against the accused youth and his five accomplices at the police station. She informed the police that the accused was a local resident and had threatened them three days prior, insisting that they arrange the marriage, or he would kill her daughter.
The accused kidnapped her on August 11
According to the victim's mother, on the night of August 11, the accused along with five others arrived on three bikes. They harassed and assaulted her husband and son. When they resisted, the accused broke the gate and entered the house, threatening her daughter with a knife and other weapons to stay silent. The girl was then forcibly taken away on a bike with her mouth covered. The neighbors gathered on hearing the noise and searched for the girl, but she couldn't be found.
Body found in a pond the next day
On the morning of August 12, the teenager's tied-up body was discovered in a pond. The mother alleged that her daughter was gang-raped before being murdered. Paroo police station officer Monu Kumar said they are conducting raids to arrest the accused.
Injuries found on neck, head, and hand
Muzaffarpur SSP Rakesh Kumar informed that on August 12, the body of the 14-year-old girl was recovered in a village in the Paroo police station area. The police, upon reaching the site, documented the scene and sent the body for autopsy. There were three injury marks on the body, inflicted with a sharp weapon on the head, neck, and palm.
According to the SSP, a weapon (khurpi) was recovered near the crime scene, stained with blood. The FSL team is investigating. Prima facie, it appears to be a case of murder, but the exact cause will be clear after the autopsy report.

The family of the deceased has lodged an FIR naming one accused and several unknown others. The family alleged that the accused was trying to force their daughter into marriage. When she refused, the accused, along with unknown individuals, abducted her from the house.
Additionally, the elder sister of the deceased revealed that these strongmen had similarly murdered her husband in the past and dumped the body. They had pressured her younger sister for marriage, and on refusal, abducted, raped, and murdered her before dumping the body in the pond.
