The case of artificial intelligence engineer Atul Subhash's suicide from Jaunpur has become a major talking point on social media. Before his tragic act, Atul created a video that contained several viral clips. In his final moments, Atul left a unique gift and letter for his four-year-old son, instructing that it should be opened in 2038, when his son turns 18.

Atul Subhash recorded a video lasting an hour and a half, in which he detailed the circumstances pushing him towards this drastic step. He blamed his wife, his in-laws, and even accused a judge in the Jaunpur family court of whom his case was under consideration. Additionally, he left messages for his mother, father, and brother, as well as a special message for his young son.

Leaving a Gift for His Son

In the video, Atul expressed that his wife had prevented him from seeing their four and a half-year-old son. Before his death, he decided to leave a gift for his son to be opened in 2038 when he turns 18. His last wish was for his wife to hand the son over to his grandparents, ensuring he receives good values, claiming that his parents will raise him lovingly, along with his kind brother.

Atul mentioned in his video that the money he earns only strengthens his adversaries, which they use against him. The Suicide on December 9 in Bengaluru

Atul Subhash took his life by hanging himself from the ceiling fan in his Bengaluru bedroom. During the suicide, he wore a t-shirt inscribed with 'Justice Is Due.' Before this, he recorded an hour and a half long video and wrote a 24-page letter blaming his wife, in-laws, and the legal system for driving him to suicide. Married in 2019 to Nikita Singhania, with whom he had a child, Atul faced nine cases filed by his wife including dowry harassment, murder of her father, and unnatural sexual assault. These were allegedly used to extort 3 crore rupees as settlement. Based on the family's complaint, charges have been filed at Marathahalli station under sections 108 and 3(5) of the BNS Act, and the investigation is ongoing.

In his suicide video, Atul insisted his wife and her family should be kept away from his body posthumously. He asked his family to not immerse his ashes until his alleged tormentors are punished, or otherwise dispose of them outside the court in a gutter.

Allegations extended to requiring bribes even for court appearances, with the principal family court judge demanding 3 crores in maintenance fees, further requesting a bribe of five lakh rupees, promising to settle this case by December.
