‘Lalu Ji knows what he says...’ JD(U) responds to RJD Chief’s offer to Nitish

RJD Chief Lalu Yadav offered Nitish Kumar a place in the Grand Alliance saying he would gladly accept him. Now, the JD(U) has issued their response.

As the New Year began, RJD Supremo Lalu Yadav made a statement that has sparked conversation across the nation. Lalu Yadav, when asked about including Nitish Kumar in the Grand Alliance, said he would embrace him if he wished to join. In response to Lalu's offer, JD(U) leader and Union Minister Lalan Singh has issued a statement. Lalan Singh mentioned, 'Whatever Lalu Ji says or doesn't say is known to him alone.'

Union Minister and former JD(U) National President Lalan Singh commented on Lalu Yadav’s proposal to Nitish, stating, 'What Lalu Ji speaks or refrains from speaking is known to him. We remain steadfast in our alliance with the NDA and will stay where we are.'

Previously, former Deputy CM Tejashwi Yadav had indicated that the doors were closed for Nitish Kumar. However, following Lalu Yadav’s statement, Tejashwi remarked, 'Lalu Ji made this statement to pacify the media. You keep asking, so what shall he say?'

Meanwhile, Congress legislative leader Shakeel Ahmed Khan has referred to Nitish Kumar as a Gandhian, stating, 'Anyone who is a Gandhian will join us. Nitish Kumar is a follower of Gandhi’s principles.'

What did Lalu Yadav say to Nitish?

Lalu Yadav remarked that the doors are open for Nitish, and Nitish should also keep them open. If Nitish comes, why shouldn’t we join hands? We will certainly welcome him. Let Nitish join, work together. The RJD Supremo assured that if Nitish disengages from the alliance, they will forgive him. Previously, Tejashwi Yadav had expressed that doors were shut for Nitish Kumar, but within RJD, Lalu Yadav's decisions are considered supreme.
