Yashasvi has already made a name for himself in Test cricket, but opportunities in ODIs were limited. Yet, given the chance against South Africa, he seized the moment by scoring a century. To date, Yashasvi has played only four ODI matches. However, with his century in the fourth match, he has nearly secured his place in this format.
Discussing this innings, Yashasvi mentioned that initially, Rohit Sharma advised him on tactics, encouraging him to play calmly while taking calculated risks. Subsequently, Virat Kohli also provided invaluable tips that assisted Yashasvi in achieving his century.
It's noteworthy that in Vishakhapatnam, Yashasvi Jaiswal scored an unbeaten 116 runs. During his innings, he struck 12 fours and 2 sixes. This brilliant innings helped India clinch the victory by 9 wickets, securing a 2-1 series win.
