What the New Government Plans for the Yamuna

Just before the BJP government took power in Delhi, a plan was devised to rid the Yamuna of severe pollution within three years. Delhi's Lieutenant Governor V.K. Saxena initiated a cleanup drive at Kalindi Kunj Ghat, and modern machinery was installed to speed up debris removal and weed extraction after a meeting with officials to accelerate the Yamuna cleanup campaign.
