An unexpected stir occurred at a primary health center in Firozabad, UP, when the district’s woman IAS officer arrived for a surprise inspection. Disguised as a patient under a veil, she stood in line to register and waited to see the doctor, unrecognized at first. When it was revealed that the veiled woman was none other than the IAS officer, the staff began sweating bullets as she unveiled multiple deficiencies at the center.

In fact, SDM of Firozabad district, Kriti Raj, reached the health center in Didamai covertly on Tuesday (March 12). Leaving her vehicle far from the hospital, she entered disguised under a veil, going unnoticed.

It is reported that the health department in Firozabad was receiving complaints about irregularities, corruption, and poor behavior. When SDM Sadar Kriti Raj heard about these issues, she immediately took notice and set out on a surprise inspection.

There were complaints that anti-rabies injections were not being administered at the Didamai primary health center. During her visit, she found many expired medicines and observed poor conduct from doctors and staff towards patients. The SDM noted significant disorganization and pledged firm action.

SDM reported that hospital staff were administering injections to standing patients and that there was significant dust on the beds. There was a lack of cleanliness. The delivery room and even restrooms were found in unsanitary conditions. The lack of empathy among staff was evident. Currently, an inspection report is being sent to the district magistrate for further action.
