A video rapidly gaining traction on social media vividly shows water leakage inside the coach of Mumbai's AC local train, known as the city's lifeline. This video was posted by Advocate Ashish Rai, who was aboard the train.
On Saturday night, water suddenly began leaking in the AC local heading from Andheri to Bhayandar, causing significant inconvenience for passengers. According to Advocate Ashish, the water forced passengers to switch seats, leading to discomfort during the ride. He has also lodged a complaint with Western Railway regarding this incident.
Western Railway has now issued a response. Officials identified the affected rake as unit number 7013-7016, which has been running continuously since Sunday morning without any prior complaints. Despite this, they are taking the passenger complaints seriously and will inspect the rake for any required corrective actions. The railway has expressed regret for the inconvenience caused to passengers.

It should be noted that continuous rain in and around Mumbai since Saturday has likely contributed to such situations.
