Devotees are flooding into the city, each longing to witness the sacred Suryabhishek ceremony within the new temple grounds. Yet, you too can partake in the observance from the comfort of your home.

When will Ram Lalla's Suryabhishek take place?

At precisely 12:16 in the afternoon, Lord Sun will perform the ritual Suryabhishek on Ram Lalla. The rays of the sun will directly reach the Ram Temple, gracing the forehead of Ram Lalla. Legend has it that during Lord Ram's birth, Sun god himself administered the sacred abhishek, a divine moment that will be recreated today.

According to the Trust, the broadcast of Ram's birth celebrations will be displayed on nearly 100 large LED screens. An appeal has been made to avoid bringing mobile phones to save from hassles and time wastage. The live broadcast will also be available across all social media accounts associated with the Trust.

New Guidelines for Devotees Issued

To ensure a smooth darshan experience for all devotees, new guidelines have been issued by the Trust. During the temple construction committee's meeting, a decision was made to suspend VIP and VVIP darshans from April 15th to 18th. Moreover, on Ram Navami, Ram Lalla will grant darshan to devotees for 19 hours. The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust has decided to extend the darshan hours on April 17th, the day of Ram Janmotsav, from 3:30 AM to 11 PM.

Sun's Rays to Touch Ram Lalla's Forehead

It should be noted that on Navami day at noon, the sun's rays will hit the mirrors placed on the temple's highest tier. Reflecting at 90 degrees, they will enter a brass pipe with another mirror inside. The rays will reflect from this mirror and make a 90-degree turn downwards through the pipe, intensifying through three lenses placed en route. Finally, after exiting the vertical pipe, they will strike another mirror, turn another 90 degrees, and directly bless the head of Shri Ram Lalla.
