In Bihar's Muzaffarpur, an unusual incident unfolded when two high school students decided to marry via WhatsApp. They typed 'I accept' three times in their chat and considered themselves husband and wife. The boy is so insistent on this imaginary marriage that he defied his family, determined to live with her.
Both are currently appearing for their final exams, making this issue so serious that their families sought police interference. Desperate for intervention, family members pleaded with the authorities to handle the situation. On Sunday, at the Muzaffarpur City Police Station, the love-stricken boy created a dramatic scene for hours. Eventually, the police persuaded him to think rationally, despite his insistence on marrying his beloved regardless of the cost. The boy resides in Pankaj Market, whereas the girl is from Bochahan jurisdiction.
He explained that they had been in a relationship for two years, and after the girl wrote 'I accept' on WhatsApp, she believed they were wed. This revelation to their families led to opposition, and their phones were confiscated. Stuck amidst their exams, the students tried desperately to meet, but the girl's family accompanied her daily, heightening the boy's frustration leading to erratic actions.
