Varun Gandhi, Pilibhit's MP, has expressed his heartfelt emotions in a letter to his electorate after his ticket from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) was cancelled. His official social media handle shared this letter, which details the bond he's had with the people of the area from his first arrival to his tenure as their MP, as well as his aspirations for the future.
In the letter, he clearly states his purpose of entering politics was to raise the common man's voice and he seeks the constituents' blessings to continue doing so, no matter the cost. Beginning the letter, he shares how nostalgia has overwhelmed him with countless memories.
Varun recalls being a mere three-year-old in 1983, taking his first steps in Pilibhit, unaware that one day this land would become his field of karma and its people, his family. He feels fortunate for having had the opportunity to serve the great people of Pilibhit for years.
