Net Exam Solved via Any Desk? 4 Arrested from Subharti

Following allegations of irregularities in the CSIR NET exam, UPSTF has launched an investigation. The STF's search operation at the examination center has unveiled several revelations, indicating that candidate papers were solved with the help of a solver gang.

UPSTF has uncovered multiple revelations regarding the CSIR-NET exam. An STF team conducted a search operation at the Exam Center of Subharti University, Meerut. During this operation, devices and several suspects were seized from the examination center. One accused has been apprehended and four individuals who were set to take the exam have been detained. Interrogations are ongoing.

Based on confidential information, UPSTF conducted a search operation at the Subharti University, Meerut exam center. During the search, an additional admin computer was found through the local area network from the server room of the examination lab. Two laptops with Anydesk remote access tools were also discovered in the server room. Additionally, an employee's exam-conducting mobile was found.

Evidence of Solver Gang

The mobile contained the names, roll numbers, and IP addresses of four candidates. This IP was shared with a person outside the center, facilitating screen sharing of these candidates' papers, which were being solved by an external solver. On June 25, during the first and second shifts, the names of 11 candidates were found from the deleted files in the mobile. Necessary legal proceedings are ongoing.

Exam Already Cancelled

The National Testing Agency (NTA) had invited applications for CSIR UGC-NET from June 1, with exams scheduled for June 25, 26, and 27. Amid the NEET paper leak controversy, NTA postponed the CSIR UGC-NET exams to ensure transparency and integrity.

On June 28, NTA issued an official notice with new exam dates. According to the notice, CSIR UGC-NET exams are now scheduled to be held on July 25, 26, and 27. As per the re-exam schedule, exams for Earth, Atmospheric, Ocean, Planetary Sciences, and Physical Sciences were held on July 25. The Mathematics exam was conducted on July 26. Life Sciences and Chemical Sciences exams will be held on July 27. The exam will be 3 hours long, from 9 AM to 12 PM.
