UP Tragedy: Son of Retired CO Accuses Four in Video

A heart-wrenching incident has surfaced in Amroha, Uttar Pradesh. Rahil Usmani, the son of retired CO Tahir Usmani, ended his life on Thursday. Before the tragic event, he recorded two videos naming four individuals responsible for blackmailing and harassing him. It is reported that the deceased, who was involved in property dealings, had borrowed money with interest, which led to his mental distress.

The incident occurred in the Gheera Pachhaiya locality of Amroha police station area. On Thursday afternoon, two individuals visited Rahil's home and issued threats. During this time, Rahil invited them into his room. After a conversation, he locked the door from inside and took his life by hanging himself. The family peered into the room and found him hanging. With the assistance of neighbors, they broke the door and rushed Rahil to the hospital, where doctors declared him dead.

Upon receiving information, Crime Inspector Randeep Pundir and the force arrived at the scene. CO Sadar Shakti Singh also inspected the site. During the investigation, police retrieved two videos from Rahil's phone. The first video lasted 13 minutes and 55 seconds, while the second was 55 seconds long. In these videos, Rahil accused four individuals of harassment and blackmail.

The family filed a serious complaint leading to the police registering an FIR against the accused. Legal proceedings and investigations are underway. Additionally, a forensic team has been deployed for evidence collection. It is noteworthy that Rahil Usmani was the eldest son in the family of retired CO Tahir Usmani, which includes his mother and four sons.

Police actively pursuing arrest of the accused

Rahil was involved in property dealings, the second son Amir is a government teacher, the third son Mohsin is preparing for SI recruitment with UP Police, and the youngest Adil is pursuing LLB. Currently, the police are actively investigating the case and pursuing the arrest of the accused.
