An alarming case of assault on a minor model in a moving vehicle has emerged from Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh. The incident occurred on April 7th. It is alleged that three men from Ghaziabad offered the minor model a ride and then assaulted her in the moving vehicle.
The victim claims she was rendered unconscious with a spiked cold drink before the assault, and afterwards, the perpetrators left her at a hotel near the Moradabad railway station and fled.
In response to the victim's complaint, the Kotwali police have registered a case against three named suspects. The suspects have been charged under the POCSO Act and SC/ST Act and have been arrested.
According to the FIR filed at the police station, the victim mentioned that she traveled to Jaipur for a modeling event on April 5th. On April 6th, she returned to Dhaula Kuan in Delhi by bus, where she encountered a car driven by Bharat Singh, Anil, and Sonu.
The victim said she knew Bharat because he had previously conducted a photoshoot for her. She stated, 'Bharat asked me where I was going. I told him I was heading to Moradabad, and he offered to drop me there as they were also going to Moradabad.'
Trusting Bharat, the victim boarded his car and they left Dhaula Kuan at around 11:30 AM. Upon reaching Ghaziabad, they picked up food and cold drinks from a hotel. The victim said that after drinking the cold drink, she felt intoxicated. Subsequently, the three took turns assaulting her.
'When I regained consciousness, I asked them to stop at a petrol pump under the pretext of needing the restroom, where I used my phone to call 112, and then returned to the car. They then took me to a hotel near the Moradabad railway station and left. Shortly after, the police arrived and I summoned my parents to the location. The police arrested the three suspects based on my complaint,' the victim recounted.
SSP Hemraj Meena has stated that upon receiving a written complaint about the gang assault, the case was registered and the three individuals were arrested. The minor girl has accused three men from Ghaziabad of the assault. Her medical examination is underway, and legal proceedings are in progress.
