The photograph of Sanjay sitting in Tejashwi's seat went viral on social media, prompting an influencer to object, stating that the front seat is always reserved for top leaders. Addition to this, a criticism without naming Sanjay Yadav was made on social media, suggesting that someone who considers themselves above top leadership is a different issue altogether. People are accustomed to seeing Lalu Prasad and Tejashwi Yadav sitting there. Seeing someone else in their place is entirely unacceptable to us.

Rohini's Attack on Sanjay Yadav
The debacle began when Lalu's Singapore-based daughter, Rohini, shared this social media post. Rohini's action fueled the controversy, indicating that she, too, objected to Sanjay Yadav sitting in Tejashwi's seat.
As politics heated up in Bihar following Rohini's social media post, she attempted damage control by sharing photographs of other backward caste leaders of her party sitting in Tejashwi's seat, writing, "Bringing the marginalized and those on society's last rung forward has been Lalu Prasad's objective for social and economic justice. It's gratifying to see people from these sections sitting ahead in these pictures."
Rohini Acharya's social media post clarified that her previous post, allegedly targeting Sanjay Yadav, had stirred quite a storm in the Lalu family. To mitigate the impact, she shared pictures of other leaders as well.

The controversy did not end there. The following day, Friday, it appeared that Rohini Acharya was deeply hurt by the entire episode. She continued to share multiple images and videos of herself with her father Lalu Prasad. One photo was from when Lalu went to Singapore for a kidney transplant, and Rohini donated a kidney to him.
Sharing these images on social media, Rohini wrote, "Those with the courage to take risks possess fearlessness, forthrightness, and dignity, flowing through their veins."
Later, Rohini posted again, saying, "As a daughter and sister, I have fulfilled my duty and will continue to do so. I have no desire for any position, nor do I have any political aspirations. My self-respect is of utmost importance to me."
Rohini's Friday social media posts indicated that despite her intense opposition to Sanjay Yadav and having to back down shortly after, she was profoundly disheartened by the matter.

There is constant talk in Bihar's political circles that Tej Pratap's drift from his family was due to Sanjay Yadav.
Ultimately, the family ousted Tej Pratap from both the house and the party. It is speculated that Tejashwi Yadav heeds every piece of advice from his political consultant Sanjay Yadav and perhaps won't listen to anything against him.
