A major scam has rocked the health department of Uttar Pradesh, causing a stir across the entire department. Allegations have surfaced of employment deceit under a single name in multiple districts, with salaries being drawn for several months. Following the revelation, Arpit Singh, the accused working in Banda district, has absconded.

Health Department Shaken by Fraud

Indeed, a storm ensues in UP's health department over the 2016 X-ray technician recruitment scandal. Allegations claim phony employment was secured across various locations under the same name, astonishing departmental officials. Arpit Singh was employed for about 8 months as an X-ray technician at Naraini CHC, Banda, from where he earned his salary before vanishing suddenly. This matter is now under investigation, both departmentally and by government agencies. The complete investigation report has been sent to the authorities by Banda CMO Vijendra Kumar.

Multiple Jobs, Different Aadhaar Cards

According to sources, Arpit Singh, son of Anil Kumar, seized X-ray technician roles across several UP districts, including Banda. He allegedly used different Aadhaar cards and documents everywhere. While working at each location, he collected salaries.

After approximately 7-8 months of service at Naraini CHC, he went missing, and his whereabouts remain unknown. This fraud came to light when a government-led investigation commenced, compelling a report request from the CMO.

Post-Investigation Actions to Follow

The Naraini CHC in-charge, Dr. Vikas Yadav, stated that he was informed about this issue and provided full details to the CMO. The CMO affirmed the case's investigation on government orders and has forwarded all related documents and the investigation report for governmental review. His job here is confirmed. Future actions will proceed at the government level.

Reportedly, individuals claiming to be Arpit Singh secured X-ray technician roles in Balrampur, Farrukhabad, Rampur, Banda, Amroha, and Shamli, using different Aadhaar cards, addresses, and documents to gain employment and subsequently drew salaries for years from public service.
