In Bangladesh, a wave of massive protests against job reservations in government sector has engulfed the streets. Thousands of students are demanding the abolishment of the reservation system. The peaceful protests have unfortunately taken a violent turn, leading to the demise of six individuals in clashes with the police, while over a hundred demonstrators have reportedly been injured. The situation has escalated to an extent where schools, colleges, and madrasas across various cities including Dhaka have had to be shut down for safety concerns.
