In the district of Unnao, located in Madhya Pradesh, a joyous ceremony turned tragic when celebratory gunfire claimed the life of a young man. The suspect managed to escape immediately after the incident. Upon receiving information, the police arrived at the scene to begin their investigation.
This incident took place in the village of Rajawakhda where a celebration for Sunil Kumar, son of Dori Lal, was ongoing. A villager named Jeetu brought an illegal weapon and fired shots in the air. In the chaos, a bullet struck Ravi, a 22-year-old from the neighboring village of Peepakheda. The atmosphere of joy instantly transformed into one of mourning.
A Life Cut Short by Celebratory Gunfire
Ravi was rushed in haste to Kanpur's Kashiram Hospital, but unfortunately, the doctors declared him dead upon arrival. As soon as the incident was reported, police and forensic teams promptly arrived at the scene to start their investigation. The suspect, Jeetu, remains on the run, with police actively searching for him.
Authorities Initiate Investigation
Additional Superintendent of Police, Akhilesh Singh, reported that the celebratory gunfire was initiated by the groom's cousin, using an illegal weapon, which resulted in Ravi from the bride's side getting injured. Despite efforts, he was declared dead at the hospital. Authorities have registered a case and are determined to swiftly apprehend the suspect.
